Natasha & Bart | August 18, 2007

Natasha and Bart's wedding, which took place at Anthony's Ocean View in New Haven, CT, was a creative fusion of their Canadian and Polish cultures. Following a traditional ceremonty, which featured readings in both English and Polish, guests moved on to the reception, where bottles of Canadian wine sat atop each table.

The couple chose a unique and romantic way of distinguishing guest tables - each was named "love" in a different language. Simple escort cards tucked beneath strips of pale blue ribbon led guests to the dining room, where a combination of tall and low floral centerpieces in soft shades of blue and green complemented the subtle seaside theme.

Erin & Noe | July 28, 2007

Erin and Noe hosted a lovely summer wedding at La Mirage in North Haven, CT. A crafty and talented do-it-yourself bride, Erin created nearly all of the decorations for both the ceremony and reception, using a sensuous color palette of champagne, gold, and blush tones. Her creations included pew decorations fashioned from silk flowers in varying shades of pink, a floral wreath adorned with the couple's initials which graced the altar and head table, and handcrafted ceremony programs.

The details at Erin and Noe's wedding struck a perfect balance between traditional elements, like the guest book with plumed feather pens, and modern touches, like the gobo featuring the couple's monogram which was projected onto the dance floor throughout the reception.

Catie & Mark | July 14, 2007

Though the weather could not have been more bright and beautiful on their wedding day, it paled in comparison to the smiles on Catie and Mark's faces when they became husband and wife. Their gorgeous mid-summer wedding took place at Cascade in Hamden, CT amidst a trendy color palette of rich chocolate brown, deep raspberry, pool blue, and subtle accents of lime green.

By incorporating a number of personalized details, including their initials hung from ribbon on the church doors, custom-designed table number cards that depicted images of the couple at various ages, and a collection of multi-generational family wedding photos displayed atop a piano in the Cascade foyer, Catie and Mark ensured that their wedding was a true reflection of themselves and their families.

Trina & Kevin | June 10, 2007

Trina and Kevin's colorful seaside wedding was held at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst, NY. An array of spring-inspired hues, including deep blue, sage green, pale yellow, and dusty pink, made up their vibrant color palette. Following an outdoor ceremony, which took place overlooking Great South Bay, the couple boarded a private yacht to take photos in the nearby harbor.

Afterward, they joined their guests on the deck for cocktail hour, where a steel drum band provided festive music. Inside the reception, Trina and Kevin chose a unique way of distinguishing guest tables by naming them after special memories from their relationship, such as favorite movies, restaurants, and vacations they took together. Guest favors in the form of miniature bottles of White Zinfandel and Merlot wines were placed in the center of each table, along with personalized menu cards.

Kristen & Todd | December 1, 2006

Kristen and Todd's wedding, which took place at Villa Rosa in Waterbury, CT, exuded warmth amongst a winter-inspired theme, with personal touches evident in nearly every aspect. At the ceremony, a table of personalized vases, each containing a single red rose, honored dearly departed family members. At the reception, a heritage table placed at the entrance to the dining room displayed family wedding photos throughout the generations.

Jessica & Jesse | October 20, 2006

Though the weather was gray and gloomy that day, Jessica and Jesse's wedding, which took place at Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown, NY, was anything but. These high school sweethearts chose a vibrant palette of bright autumnal hues for their late October celebration. At the ceremony, guests were given programs printed on linen paper and embellished with salmon-colored ribbon. A pencil sketch of the church where Jessica and Jesse would soon wed, drawn by a dear family friend, graced the cover of each.

At the reception, guests were greeted by a collage of Jessica and Jesse's childhood photos as they entered the cocktail hour. And on a nearby table, the couple chose a non-traditional way of displaying guest escort cards - by hanging them from miniature tree branches.
